My son was home for 21 days before moving to his first duty station in England. Needless to say I wanted to make all his favorite dishes before he left. This was not a good 21 days for my diet but I wouldn’t trade them for anything! The 5-7 pounds I gained was well worth the good times we had while I gained them….but now that he is gone and getting situated at his new home I need to get back to taking care of me, and that starts with Detox!
Simply restart Step One with a vengeance! I can’t wait to get back into Ketosis but not looking forward to the 3 days of detox to get there. I did a quick review of the ITG Potential Symptoms and Body Responses which reminded me of my symptoms last detox. I really only experienced a slight bit of lightheadedness and a mild headache, so why all the complaining? I am having the usual and expected M.O. (Modus operandi) of a new dieter, scared of detox or using it as an excuse not to start a program. I am human but I will not let my mind play tricks on me with detox. I know it’s not really that bad and I also know the energy level that is waiting for me once I get to Ketosis. Who’s with me? Let’s Detox!!!
