Why's It Gotta Be "Fat"?

fat-tuesday-itg-diet-styleToday is Fat Tuesday! I’m sure we all wish it could be called Skinny Tuesday...but that’s no reason to fall off the wagon and crash your diet! Mardi Gras is known for the festivities, the beads, and especially the food and drinks.

Having lived in the south for several years, my friends and I have always gotten together during the week and cooked some of our favorite southern dishes. They’re always so delicious but they can also be extremely unhealthy! This year, I’m watching what I’m eating so I can maintain my weight. We have added a few quick and simple recipes to the ITG Diet recipe section with Cajun roots that will be perfect for a Mardi Gras inspired dinner. Now you can stay worry free by not cheating on your diet!
