First Weekend on ITG Diet!
Last thing my ITG wellness coach, Maria, said to me on Friday at 5:00 pm day #5 of my ITG Diet was, “the best advice I can give you for your first weekend is to stay busy.” She told me how it could be a few tough days ahead. My routine was about to change. I got used to getting up and coming in to the office. Surrounded by supportive people and approved food choices. How could I fail in the perfect ITG Diet setting? Home all weekend doing house work and laundry…How could I not fail? See I started on a Monday and was at work most of the day for days #1-5 but days #6 and #7 will be my toughest days… home alone with Me! (yikes) … “Stay busy, Tina!”
I don’t know about you but I was a little bit nervous. So I took my coaches advice and stayed busy. I went shopping….lol…If I would have stayed home all day cleaning and no fun, chances are I would have maybe cheated? Instead I spent the morning doing some shopping and personal errands that I have wanted to do but never seem to find the time. I wanted to check in with Maria by text (cause that’s how cool she is, she lets her dieters text her on evenings and weekends if they need her help) and let her know I was okay, sticking to diet and keeping busy, but I was too busy enjoying my Me time to text her.J Let me tell you this, I could get used to this kind of “keeping busy.” J I haven’t done so many things for just me in a while; don’t get me wrong I’m always busy, just usually doing something for someone else. Boy did it feel good taking care of Me!
Day #8 Check-in: -5 lbs J This is me with 5lbs of fat!
