Ingredients

Recipe
- 1 handful(s) 6 spears of asparagus
- 1 pinch(es) sea salt
- 1 pinch(es) black pepper
- 1 dash(es) fresh lemon juice
Oven Roasted Asparagus Directions
- Preheat oven to 425o F.
- Prepare the asparagus, either just by snapping off the ends, or trimming the very end and peeling tough part with vegetable peeler.
- Put on cookie sheet or baking pan.
- Drizzle the oil over the asparagus, followed by the salt, pepper, herbs, and lemon. Get in there with your hands and smear it all over.
- Bake for 5-10 minutes, until tender.
- Tip: Dry heat (in the oven or on the grill) is my favorite way to cook many veggies, including asparagus. It really develops the flavor so nicely. Asparagus doesn't take a whole lot of preparation, so it's a quick vegetable to get on the table. I like using mixtures of dried Italian or Greek herbs for this.
