Hi Bobbi,

Great question. The 5-8 ounces of lean protein for dinner is a range for you to stay within. Because you are a smaller size, you could do with 5 or 6 ounces. If you are hungrier for dinner one night, go for 7 or 8 ounces! Your body needs the protein so don't worry about having to stick with a set number every single night for dinner.

For example, you could have a 6 oz filet with your veggies and salad tonight, and a do 5 oz piece of salmon with veggies and salad tomorrow. You may be much hungrier one night so opt for a 7 or 8 ounce serving of your lean protein choice!
